Our Returns Policy
During the festive period, we are offering an extended returns period for change of mind. Items purchased during December 2024 can be returned for change of mind within 60 days of original purchase date. All purchases made after December 2024 revert to our standard returns policy.
Shop with confidence knowing if you change your mind or aren’t 100% happy with your purchase, we accept returns provided you meet the below conditions:
The product is returned within a 30 day change of mind period.
This 30 day change of mind period starts from the purchase date, which can be found on your receipt or order confirmation. Items purchased during December 2024 can be returned within 60 days of original purchase date.
You return the product in its original condition, unworn and with the tags attached.
Unless the product is an excluded product.
Supply your store receipt/tax invoice or online order confirmation email as proof of purchase.
Your proof of purchase must be within our 30 day change of mind period.
Unless required by local law, gift cards (including eGift Cards), hair accessories and jewellery are excluded from this returns policy and cannot be returned because of change of mind or incorrect size/fit.
If you have received a faulty garment/item from an online order, please contact our Customer Service Department.
The alleged fault must be clearly identified to us. Items returned to us will be assessed.
This policy does not modify your rights under the under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 & equivalent State or Territory legislation. Where permitted by law, all other rights are excluded.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure
Returning Online
For all card and/or gift card payments, simply locate your order number and start your return process online below. For all buy now, pay later payment methods, view the information below for each provider's policy.
The Refund return option is available for Full Price and Sale products purchased from Yarra Trail.

Postage costs for the "return to online" return option are non-refundable under this returns policy.
3.Your return will be processed within 5 business days of receipt
When your return is processed, we will send you an email to confirm that your refund has been processed.
We can only accept online returns for items purchased directly from Yarra Trail. If you have concerns with products purchased from any of our wholesale partners, please contact that retailer directly and they will be happy to assist with further information regarding their returns policy.
Please note that any Yarra Trail items purchased from a third party site, for example, Myer or David Jones, will need to be returned via that store's Returns Portal. These items cannot be returned to any Yarra Trail stores or via the Yarra Trail online returns.
Returning In Store
If you have purchased an item in-store and would like to make a return, you can visit your local Yarra Trail Boutique to do so. Click on the button below to view our Store Locator. You will require proof of purchase in order to make the return. *Please note that purchases made in store cannot be returned or exchanged online.

We appreciate it's not always easy buying the perfect garment online and we understand that you may need to return or exchange items occasionally. You may return or exchange your online purchase by posting it back to our online store or returning it to one of our Yarra Trail Boutiques. Please note we are not able to accept online returns to our David Jones Concession locations.
We are happy to accept returns that have not been worn or used and have the original tags still attached. On receiving your returned item we will gladly send you at your request a replacement garment if it’s available or refund your purchase price (excluding the postage fee).
Please return your item(s) within 30 days of receiving your order. Yarra Trail cannot accept returns for any reason other than manufacturing defects (detailed further below), after this period.
All returned items must be accompanied by a completed copy of the Return Authorisation Form as well as a copy of the invoice, receipt and/or proof of purchase. The shipping fees of returned products are paid by the Customer.
Please allow two weeks from the day you returned your order for your return or exchange to be processed and for your account to be credited.
