Q&A with Alison: Our Yarra Trail Head Designer

On a whimsical holiday in Paris, the True Harmony Collection was born.  Inspired
by nautical seaside scenes, the True Harmony collection combines bright blues and
reds with relaxed silhouettes. Colourful and feminine, this collection embodies the
perfect blend of versatility and style. We sat down with our Head Designer Alison
and discovered the magic behind this beautiful collection.

1. What inspired you to create the collection?

At the time I was looking at a collection of vintage nautical themed posters depicting
seaside scenes, yachts and nautical inspired fashion.

2. What’s your favourite True Harmony piece?

The Contrast Stitch Linen Pant is my favourite piece in the collection, it has a hint of
Katharine Hepburn style to it. The wider leg shape is very flattering and the contrast
stitch brings it right up to date.

3. Where did you shoot the campaign and why?

We shot the campaign in Brunswick Heads NSW, a traditional and unspoilt seaside

village that had just the right relaxed feel to suit our latest summer collection.

4. What print is your favourite from the collection?

The Harlequin print is colourful and feminine and so versatile as it can be worn with
so many pieces in the collection.

5. How would you spend your long weekend in our True Harmony Collection?

I would love to go back to Brunswick Heads, I felt very calm there as it has a slower,
more relaxing pace of life. I would spend the days honing my paddle-boarding skills
and walking the coastal paths. In the evenings there are several restaurants to try
and an old picture house for movie night.
